I'm not sure if that's sound advice or not, but I followed it, and fortunately I never needed a drop of formula with baby #2. I formula fed baby #1, but was determined to bf baby #2.everyone told me to get rid of all formula samples when I was preggers with baby #2 so I wouldn't be tempted to use them when bf got hard in those early days/weeks.

I did not sign up to receive these samples (and didn't get an email saying they were on the way), so I was quite surprised to receive them! I'm assuming they came to me because motherhood maternity store took my info down at the beginning of my pregnancy when I shopped there, or maybe Babies R Us gave them my info when I registered there, or maybe it was my Dr? I'm not really sure. I received both enfamil and similac samples and coupons in the mail last week or the week before.
